Winton Duke confirmed his return as M’Baku in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and noted how emotional it will be to film without Chadwick Boseman.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be unlike any comic book movie that has come before due to the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman last year. Filming on the Marvel sequel is already underway in Atlanta.
Various members of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever cast have opened up about following the groundbreaking first film without its star. Winston Duke is the latest to share his thoughts on the upcoming film after recently talking to Collider:
“It was very emotional to read the script. It was emotional to pack to go back to set. But we’re all a bit of a family now and we grieve together, and we’re making something really special.”

Here is the synopsis for the first film:
After the death of his father, the king of Wakanda, young T’Challa returns home to the isolated high-tech African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.
