Dwayne Johnson celebrated the end of Black Adam‘s production by sharing a behind-the-scenes video where he congratulates the film’s crew.
Dwayne Johnson‘s Black Adam has finally wrapped production after nearly a decade of development. Development on the anti-hero film first began in 2014, though Johnson was expressing interest in the role as early as 2007. Now that filming is finally wrapped up, the film has a long way to go in post-production, with a release date set for summer 2022. Still, it’s an incredible accomplishment by DC and Dwayne Johnson after years of hype to finally wrap up filming after years of false starts and rewrites.
Dwayne Johnson shared a behind-the-scenes video from his last day on Black Adam to celebrate the end of production. In the video, Johnson thanks the cast and crew for their hard work and discusses how the film is a career highlight for him. He then proceeds to conduct a cash prize raffle for the crew, which appears to be a recurring activity that they do on Fridays.
