Zendaya is uncertain about her return to the MCU after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
We are just five months away from the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Anticipation for the first trailer for the upcoming film is at an all-time high, especially for fans eager to see if the film will truly explore the Spider-Verse in live-action form given the confirmed appearances of Jamie Foxx as Electro and Alfred Molina as Doc Ock.
Another returning cast member is Zendaya, who will reprise her role as Peter Parker’s girlfriend MJ. The Emmy Award-winning actress was promoting her new film Space Jam: A New Legacy and was reflecting on her experience in the MCU Spider-Man movies, to which she mentions that she’s thankful. However, she’s also uncertain about a return to the MCU:
“We don’t know if we’re gonna do another one. Is it just gonna be three and done? Like, kind of normally you do three movies and that’s pretty much it.”
The upcoming film is currently Tom Holland’s final standalone project as part of the MCU. Whether or not Sony and Disney plan to extend his contract again is unknown.
