As part of its newly-published Corporate Social Responsibility report, Nintendo has clarified its stance on diversity and inclusivity, detailing the ways in which it aims to “create a work environment that supports and empowers each and every one” of its employees.
A two-page spread in the annual report highlights several initiatives Nintendo has established to support employees and work towards improved diversity, equity and inclusion. Examples given include Nintendo of America’s Employee Resource Groups (or ERGs), such as ‘Black @ Nintendo Dialogue (B@ND)’ which “researches and creates volunteer opportunities for Nintendo of America and its employees to engage with the Black community and raise awareness of the company’s DE&I activities”.
