Shazam! Fury of the Gods director David F. Sandberg had revealed the first look at the new Marvel family suits.
Perhaps the most exciting component of Shazam! Fury of the Gods — besides Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu taking on villain roles — is that audiences will get to see more of the Marvel family. Appearing during the climax of the first Shazam! movie,Billy Batson summoned upon the powers of Shazam, giving his adopted family the strength needed to defeat Dr. Sivana. The final battle between the heroes and Sivana was one of the highlights of the action-comedy film as it doubled down on the family-centric themes that were prevalent throughout the project.
With Fury of the Gods currently filming, director David F. Sandberg took to Twitter to reveal the brand new suits for the Marvel family. Funnily enough, the director revealed the new suits because he wanted to get ahead of leakers. The new suits ditch the emboldened lightning component in favor of a traditional logo. The colors on the new suits are also more subdued, making them look more grounded and less cartooney. It also turns out that Grace Fulton, who plays Billy’s oldest sister Mary Bromfield, will be suiting up this time around. In the 2019 film, Mary’s Marvel family character was played by Michelle Borth.
Don’t know how long we can keep the new suits from leaking so here’s a pic I took the other day pic.twitter.com/41wStJ6oe2

Here is the official synopsis for the first Shazam! movie:
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Hounsou.
Shazam! is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
