Justice League director Zack Snyder has voiced his opinion on a popular Batman controversy.
Earlier this week, a Batman and Catwoman-related controversy was spilled onto the internet after the Harley Quinn showrunners revealed that DC wouldn’t allow an intimate scene between The Dark Knight and his feline friend. After the details were revealed, there was considerable outcry from all factions on the internet. Some mocked the controversy as being manufactured while others put their foot down and mocked DC for not allowing an already mature series to grapple with mature, adult-related themes. The controversy slowly fizzled out until Justice League director and Zack Snyder chimed in with his thoughts.
Zack Snyder, a lifelong Batman fan voiced his stance on the controversy with a simple but effective tweet that also had attached artwork of Batman and Catwoman. The Justice League director clearly stood with the Harley Quinn showrunners on the controversy. Based on the retweets and positive reactions that Snyder’s tweet has garnered, it appears that many are siding with him.

Here is the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
