Despite rumors circulating online suggesting otherwise, Wesley Snipes will not be joining John Wick 4.
John Wick 4 is set to be an insane fest of chaos and action, with new faces like Donnie Yen and Rina Swayama joining the franchise. The series has always added new, interesting actors in every film, so it wasn’t surprising to hear action star Wesley Snipes in the running for a role opposite Keanu Reeves. Snipes is best known for starring in and as Blade and the recent Coming 2 America. It turns out that, no matter how awesome it sounds, Wesly Snipes won’t be joining the next John Wick film.
Borys Kit, a writer for The Hollywood Reporter, took to Twitter to reveal that while there were discussions about Wesley Snipes joining John Wick 4, those talks fell through a while ago. Perhaps with the excitement that came from Snipes joining the franchise, the Blade actor and the folks behind the film will try to start up those talks again.
Despite some reports, action star @wesleysnipes is NOT going to be in #JohnWick 4. There were some discussions a little while ago but it didn’t work out.

Here is the official synopsis for the latest film in the franchise:
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.
Directed by Chad Stahelski from a script written by Derek Kolstad, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum stars Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Ruby Rose, Common, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jason Mantzoukas, Anjelica Huston, and Boban Marjanovic.
The next film in the franchise, John Wick 4, is currently scheduled to be released on May 27, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content.
