‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Hasn’t Started Filming Yet, Says Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal has confirmed that the third season of The Mandalorian hasn’t started filming yet.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see Din Djarin and Grogu return for the third season of The Mandalorian but it looks like they’ll have to wait longer than expected. Debuted in 2019 to critical acclaim on Disney Plus, The Mandalorian was the first-ever live-action Star Wars series. While the series was filled with jaw-dropping cameos and intense lore-expansion for casual and hardcore fans alike, it was the relationship between Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and the could-be Jedi Grogu that drew fans in each and every week.

In this season’s Variety’s acclaimed Actors on Actors series, The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal was placed with another Star Wars actor who also has an upcoming live-action show: Ewan McGregor. During the teaser for the series, McGregor asked Pascal if filming on a third season had begun. Pascal replied with a no before jokingly beginning to spill the beans. The info there, but we’ll likely get some more information on the Star Wars series’ future when the Variety series drops in mid-June.

“We haven’t shot a third season so confidentially, so anyway let me tell you what’s going on…”
