We’re definitely fans of Nintendo’s latest run of commercials in Japan, which are primarily promoting ‘evergreen’ titles on the system. We had the rather charming Ring Fit Adventure advert recently, and now there’s a downright heartwarming commercial for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
It’s so effective because, essentially, this is rather representative of the impact that games can have on young minds, blending the real world with the cute environs of Animal Crossing. Add in the performances, direction and music, and it’s excellent work from Nintendo and all involved.
