New behind-the-scenes photos from Thor: Love and Thunder show off Chris Hemsworth’s hero wearing 1980s workout gear.
As production continues on Thor: Love and Thunder in Australia, Chris Hemsworth was recently spotted wearing a completely different look to how audiences are used to seeing the Asgardian hero. The new shots come soon after previous set photos teased a return to New Asgard, which was last seen during Avengers: Endgame. The end of the film saw Thor leaving Earth with the Guardians of the Galaxy, so it’ll be interesting to see where his journey takes him when Love and Thunder picks up.
The new set photos see Chris Hemsworth wearing a 1980s inspired workout wear as the God of Thunder in the film as he’s wearing the long blond wig. It’s a far cry away from the regal looking armor he usually wears in the Marvel movies. Although the photos originally debuted thanks to the Daily Mail, they quickly circulated online as fans began speculating what the new look means for Thor. Take a look below.
