The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke teased how insane the premiere of Season three will be when it arrives on Amazon.
As work continues to get underway on The Boys season three, showrunner Eric Kripke took to Twitter to tease what’s ahead for the depraved superhero TV show. Earlier in May we got our first look at Jensen Ackles’ bearded Soldier Boy, and his arrival has already been amped up by the showrunner. It doesn’t sound like this version of the Supe will be the wimpy pushover seen in the comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
Eric Kripke took to Twitter to tease The Boys season three premiere, using a gif from the season two finale of Alastair Adana’s head exploding thanks to Senator Victoria Neuman. He explained that audiences are in for something really special when the show eventually debuts on the streaming service. Take a look below.

Here is the official synopsis for the second season of The Boys:
The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
