Sony trolled Marvel fans by revealing a trailer for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, but not in the way you think.
Now that filming has finished on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, many Marvel fans are eager to see a trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel. It’s understandable given all the rumors about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprising their respective Wall-Crawling roles, as well as the fact that the film is slated for release in December this year. Now, Sony has revealed a look at a trailer for the film…
However, it’s not the kind of trailer fans actually want to see. The Twitter account for the Tom Holland film shared a photo of a trailer with the Spider-Man: No Way Home logo photoshopped over the top of it. So technically, they did release a trailer for the film… It’s brilliant trolling from whoever’s running the Spider-Man Twitter account at Sony, if a little infuriating at the same time. Take a look at the joke from Sony below.
