Indiana Jones 5 has added two more stars to its already impressive cast with Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson coming aboard the sequel.
Director James Mangold isn’t messing around with assembling a brilliant cast for Indiana Jones 5, as Logan star Boyd Holbrook and Black Panther‘s Shaunette Renée Wilson have both joined the 2022 sequel. In recent news, it was announced that Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen will both appear alongside Harrison Ford in the sequel from Lucasfilm.
As per Deadline, Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson have both joined Indiana Jones 5 in unspecified roles, much like the rest of the cast. It’s still not clear where the story of the sequel could be headed. But with this many talented stars onboard, it’s certainly shaping up to be an interesting project from director James Mangold. Hopefully we’ll learn a little more when production kicks off in the summer.

Full plot details on the film are being kept under wraps, but Harrison Ford has revealed that the film will see new developments in the adventurer’s life and relationships in addition to resolving part of his history. The film will mark Lucasfilm’s first entry in the franchise while under the Disney umbrella. John Williams is attached to write the score after having previously lent his talent to the past four chapters of the film series. Steven Spielberg, who directed the previous four installments of the film series, will step out of the director’s chair for the fifth entry, with Logan director James Mangold taking over directorial duties. Solo: A Star Wars Story writer Jonathan Kasdan is penning the script.
