Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim are set to direct Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney Plus series centered on the Secret Invasion storyline.
Some Marvel Studios projects have featured one director on the television side, while upcoming shows will feature several. For Secret Invasion, The Hollywood Reporter shared Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim will helm the upcoming series. Bezucha directed 2020’s Let Him Go while Selim helmed episodes of Hulu’s The Looming Tower.
The directors are expected to helm six episodes split either 4-2 or 3-3 with filming starting in Europe later this year. Secret Invasion is being written by Mr. Robot‘s Kyle Bradstreet and will star Samuel L. Jackson back as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Olivia Coleman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Killian Scott. Not much else is known about the upcoming Marvel project.

Here is the official synopsis for Marvel Studios’ next series coming to Disney Plus, Loki:
“Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.”
Directed by Kate Herron with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Loki will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus starting June 9.
