A new report dispels rumors of Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige moving into Kathleen Kennedy’s position at Lucasfilm and oversee the Star Wars franchise.
There always seems to be a lot of chatter about Kevin Feige moving from Marvel Studios to Lucasfilm, but the wild rumor has yet to come from a legitimate source. We know that Feige will get his chance to make a Star Wars movie, and Loki showrunner Michael Waldron is currently writing the project.
Variety stated in a recent report diving into Disney’s current power structure that Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige will not be taking over the Lucasfilm president role from Kathleen Kennedy. This isn’t surprise since Feige has come out and said as much in the past and is taking on an even bigger role at Marvel. No details are known about Feige’s Star Wars movie so far beyond who’s writing it.
Do you think Kevin Feige will make more than one Star Wars project? Do you hope Feige eventually moves over to Lucasfilm? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
