Filming on the upcoming Ms Marvel series for Disney Plus has completed filming in Thailand despite a COVID-19 spike.
In the last few weeks, we got our first look at Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan suited up, and it was also revealed Brie Larson’s sequel would be titled The Marvels. The first footage from the Disney Plus show was shared by Kevin Feige during Disney’s Investor Day back in December while filming was still in progress.
Variety is now reporting principal photography on Ms Marvel has finally wrapped. The series shot in Georgia and eventually made its way to Thailand. Many MCU projects are in the works amidst COVID-19 and have had to deal with the unpredictable nature of the pandemic. The series was able to complete its shoot despite a recent resurgence of the virus in Thailand. Ms Marvel completed filming thanks to a waiver that allowed them to keep filming as new safety measures went into place across the country. Production on the Disney Plus series also divided itself into three bubbles, which allowed for continuous work if someone got sick.
