The first trailer and poster have debuted for Tom Hardy’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage after months of waiting.
To say most fans were dismissive of the first Venom film, it received enough attention and love across the world for Sony to green light the sequel which was of course teased with the arrival of Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady A.K.A. Carnage. And after the set photos for the Tom Hardy-fronted sequel teased plenty of Symbiote action, we’ve finally got our first look at another chapter of the SPUMC, sorry, the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters.
The first footage from Venom: Let There Be Carnage shows off Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock living in (messy) harmony with the Symbiote, promising more goofy comedy that caught many audiences off guard in the first film. That’s quickly done away with when Woody Harrelson’s Carnage comes onto the scene though and all hell breaks loose. Take a look at the first trailer and poster for Venom: Let There Be Carnage below.

Here is the synopsis for Sony’s first Venom film:
The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers – transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?
Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script written by Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel, Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Ron Cephas Jones, and Woody Harrelson.
Venom is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more content!
