Killmonger star Michael B Jordan reacted to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever title reveal from Marvel Studios.
Fans were touched to learn that Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther sequel is titled Wakanda Forever when Marvel Studios dropped its sizzle reel for Phase 4. Although there’s still plenty of questions about how the franchise will address the death of Chadwick Boseman – with many fans wondering whether the studio will kill T’Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and hand the mantle over to someone else. A common theory suggests the studio will resurrect Michael B Jordan’s Killmonger for Wakanda Forever.
The star previously explained that the chances of his return are pretty low, but also didn’t want to provide a definitive no. When speaking to Variety about the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever title reveal, Michael B Jordan noted that it’s “truly incredible” that Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige were able to figure out a direction for the sequel. Take a look below.
“Nice. Awesome. I like that… Marvel does great, amazing work and the characters are awesome. We all took a hit with the loss of Chadwick, so for them trying to figure out how to move forward, I know it’s not an easy thing to do. So the fact that they settled on a title and figuring out this story, I think is truly incredible. If anybody could figure it out, it’s Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige.”
