Superman and Lois might be filming flashback scenes for future episodes as Tyler Hoechlin steps back into the Max Fleischer suit in new set photos.
Superman and Lois has definitely defied expectations from fans on how the Man of Steel’s adventures can still work on TV, especially among the Arrowverse. The premiere of the series revealed a brief montage of the journey Tyler Hoechlin’s hero had been on so far, showing that he wore the Max Fleischer suit from the classic animated serials in his first public outing. And now new set photos confirm that we’ll be seeing more of the classic costume.
The new Superman and Lois set photos show off a better look at Tyler Hoechlin wearing the impressive Max Fleischer suit. The set photos were originally posted over at JustJared.com, but Twitter users quickly posted them online to share the excitement over how good the Arrowverse costume looks. While adjusting to their new lives in Smallville, Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) and Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) make an important decision concerning one of their sons. Meanwhile, tensions begin to rise between Lois and Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner). Lastly, Lana Lang Cushing (Emmanuelle Chriqui) invites the Kent family over for a barbecue.
In addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, the series stars Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the titular characters, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing. Written by The Flash‘s Todd Helbing, the series will be executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.
