Marvel Studios has unveiled the official title for Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther sequel.
Diseny and Marvel Studios have yet to address how they’re going to move forward with the Black Panther franchise after the devastating loss of Chadwick Boseman. Marvel’s Kevin Feige has mentioned that they do not plan to recast the role, but other than that nothing was known about the sequel that is until now. In a new video, Marvel Studios celebrated a return to theaters and revealed the titles and release dates for a few of their upcoming movies, including Black Panther 2.
The sequel will officially be titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The new title is fitting and means a lot more after the death of Chadwick Boseman. You can check out the video below.

Here is the synopsis for the first film:
After the death of his father, the king of Wakanda, young T’Challa returns home to the isolated high-tech African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king – and Black Panther – is tested when he’s drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
