Early Green Lantern concept art from Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals a good look at the alien hero Kilowog in the film.
He may have only appeared as a dead body during a glimpse of the Knightmare timeline, but new concept art of Kilowog from Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals an intimidating look for the Green Lantern hero. The Corps member was originally set to appear alongside John Stewart (played by Wayne T. Carr) at the end of the film, but the scene was changed in favor of Martian Manhunter instead.
Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz took to Instagram with his Kilowog designs, explaining in the caption that he wanted to make the hero look less like a pig and more like a pitbull. It’s a great costume for the classic Green Lantern character, which makes it a shame that we only got to see his dead body for a second or two instead of a scene interacting with Bruce Wayne. Take a look at the Kilowog design below.

Here is the official synopsis for the Zack Snyder cut:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons and Ciarán Hinds.
