8 Easy-to-Copy Outfit Ideas to Try This Spring

Emerging into the real world this spring has, for all of us, been quite an experience. Sunny pub gardens and reuniting with friends in parks has been heavenly, but remembering how to get dressed for such outings has been— dare we say it— difficult. That’s also been the case for us whose job it is to know how to dress, so don’t feel too bad when you’re drawing a blank in front of your current wardrobe.

We often turn to brands for outfit inspiration at the beginning of each season, but this spring it’s been an essential trick for discovering fresh styling ideas. It’s helped to remind us what goes with what (outside of a two-piece tracksuit), but also of our love of fashion, the joy of experimenting and creating new looks  with the staples we already own. And one of our favourite brands to look to right now, is Weekday

As well as being on the affordable end of the spectrum, we also just love the styling on the site. Rather than your usual high street looks, the brand makes a real effort to pair classic and trend-led pieces together in interesting ways while still making it all feel super wearable. We’re talking new ways to style crisp blue shirts, white denim and classic tank tops for SS21— helpful, right?

Their just-dropped Summer Dreams collection is a particularly good example and has seriously helped us in our forward planning for this coming season. Keep scrolling, then, for 8 of our favourite outfits from Weekday.

Style Notes: Swap your matching tracksuit for a linen two-piece. It’s just as easy to wear, but it feels much fresher.

Style Notes: We’re very into long denim shorts for summer, and this is a great example of how to wear them right now. Bikini optional.

Style Notes: We love how the matching baseball cap and flatform sandals bring this throw-on linen dress bang up to date.

Style Notes: Wide leg jeans are a must for summer. If you were wondering how to pull them off, a simple vest and cute shacket will do the trick.

Style Notes: Going out in public doesn’t mean sacrificing comfort. We love the way this knotted blouse makes a whole look out of bike shorts and a tank.

Style Notes: Is this look the epitome of smart casual? We think it might be.

Style Notes:  We still can’t get enough of pink for spring, meaning we obviously approve of this easy to wear head-to-toe look.

Style Notes: Easy, understated and cool. Perfect for this transitional weather.
