Warner Bros. has officially released the opening sequence for the upcoming live-action Mortal Kombat reboot.
Mortal Kombat will officially release simultaneously on HBO Max and in theaters this Friday and anticipation for the film is at an all-time high. I recently got the chance to see the first 13 minutes of the film and now you all can see a small amount of the opening sequence as Warner Bros. has officially released its first seven minutes.
In the opening sequence, we see Joe Taslim’s Bi-Han strike against the Hanzo clan, murdering Hanzo Hasashi’s wife and son. Hanzo Hasashi rushes to the rescue but is too late. As he arrives to the Hanzo compound, he finds his wife and son frozen by the hands of Bi-Han and the villain is there waiting for him. Hanzo then strikes with his kunai blade and the scene fades to black. You can check out the opening sequence below.
