A new image sees Jamie Foxx don the classic green and yellow Electro suit to play the villain in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
There’s still months to go until Tom Holland’s third Spider-Man film arrives on the big screen, but we already have a good idea of what he’ll be up against in No Way Home. In recent news, Alfred Molina revealed that his version of Doctor Octopus is the exact same one that audiences saw in 2004’s Spider-Man 2. Marvel’s Kevin Feige was probably very upset with the actor for revealing that… but he’s not the only returning villain in the film, with Jamie Foxx also coming back to play Max Dillon, A.K.A. Electro.
A new fan design of Jamie Foxx puts the actor in a version of the Electro suit we saw him wear in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but in the classic green and yellow color scheme from the comics. The star had seemingly confirmed (in a swiftly deleted Instagram post) that the film would explore the Spider-Verse, so it makes sense that he’ll also be playing the same Electro from the Andrew Garfield movie. Take a look at the art from Instagram user “spdrmnkyxxiii” below.

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker was last seen in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
