Christian Bale is rocking a new look for his role as Gorr the God Butcher in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder.
With Thor: Love and Thunder now filming in Australia, Christian Bale has been spotted with a freshly shaved head for his role as the main villain of the Marvel Studios project. Bale’s Thor: Love and Thunder casting was officially confirmed this past December, with Marvel’s Kevin Feige revealing that he’s playing Gorr the God Butcher, a villainous character who made his debut in the pages of 2013’s Thor: God of Thunder #2.

Full details on the plot for Thor: Love and Thunder are currently being kept under lock and key. The Marvel Studios film is said to be partly based on Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run, with Jane Foster becoming the new Thor.
Directed by Taika Waititi from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn and Jeff Goldblum. Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone and Russell Crowe are also on board.
