Former Batwoman star Ruby Rose reacted to the news that Wallis Day is replacing her as Kate Kane in the Arrowverse.
Fans were shocked last year when it was announced that Ruby Rose was leaving Batwoman and Kate Kane due to a number of reasons involving the long hours and a painful back injury, but her character has made a return to Gotham City. Krypton star Wallis Day has replaced the star as Kate Kane after the former-Batwoman was critically injured in a plane crash and had her entire face reconstructed in the aftermath.
Fans online noticed that Ruby Rose hadn’t commented on the news about Wallis Day’s casting, but she quickly assured audiences that there’s no bad blood between the pair, explaining on her Instagram story “I’m stoked for her!” Although Rose had previously expressed an interest in returning as Kate Kane at some point in the future, Wallis Day’s casting means this is probably unlikely now.
