Play the Watch Dogs: Legion Free Trial From March 25-29

If you have yet to travel to the open world of near-future London to join the ranks of DedSec to take on the private military company Albion, their criminal underworld allies, and the mysterious Zero-Day group that left DedSec in shambles, we have some great news! Starting March 25, Watch Dogs: Legion is available to play for free on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You’ll have until March 29 to build your own hacktivist resistance group by recruiting any of London’s inhabitants from its open world. Whether they’re a spy, a construction worker, a street magician, or a grandmother out on her evening constitutional, any one of them could be a valuable member of your team – but some might take more convincing than others.

Watch Dogs: Legion

Both the single-player and online modes are available during the Free Trial, along with all open-world activities, such as a game of darts at the local pub, or a fierce bare-knuckle brawl competition. In single-player, eight boroughs of London are free to explore, and the single-player campaign is playable up to the “Skye Larsen” mission. Meanwhile, co-op and PvP options are available in the online mode, but Tatical Ops are only accessible in the full version of the game.

Watch Dogs: Legion

All progress made during the Watch Dogs: Legion Free Trial transfers over to the main game should you decide to continue your journey, and if you do, we have even better news: Watch Dogs: Legion is on sale through April 1 on the Xbox Store, with the Standard Edition getting a 67% discount. The Ultimate Edition is available at a 60% discount.

What’s in the Season Pass? Here are some highlights: New missions and new characters will be available, including Mina, a former test subject with the ability to mind control citizens; Aiden Pearce from the original Watch Dogs; Wrench from Watch Dogs 2; and Darcy, a member of the Assassin Order who’s looking to join DedSec. Aiden and Wrench will also feature in Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline, a new storyline that takes place before the events of the core game. Mina and Darcy will both have new missions as well. Season Pass owners will also receive Watch Dogs Complete Edition, which includes the entirety of the original open-world hacker experience set in Chicago along with its DLC. There’s never been a better time to join the resistance.
