Zara Is Low-Key One of the Best Places to Buy Perfumes—Here Are Our Favourites

It’s no secret that we’re fans of Zara here. We’re always keeping an eye on the new arrivals section, trying to uncover the best finds and we love to find those designer-inspired buys that will be trending for the season ahead. What can we say? The retailer just consistently delivers when it comes to clothes and accessories. But I’m going to let you in on a not-so-secret secret that just might blow your mind: Zara also has a pretty good beauty selection, too. So yeah, you could consider it a one-stop shop. If that’s news to you, you’re welcome.

When it comes to Zara’s beauty section, you don’t want to sleep on the fragrances. I think you’ll be surprised at how many different perfumes the retailer has in stock. There’s a scent for just about any mood and occasion, from fresh florals to something woodsy to ones with a little bit of spice. The best news? In true Zara fashion, they are at an amazing price point. You can’t find a fragrance over £20 here. At that price, you could add a couple to your perfume collection to keep on rotation.

Since the inventory is pretty extensive, we’ve tried to narrow it down for you and shared some of the best ones to buy below.

If you’re looking for a classic floral, here it is. The fresh fragrance contains notes of pear, vanilla, and red berries.

This perfume will transport you to fun and carefree summer nights, even in the dead of winter. It has notes of mandarin, melon, and praline.

Zara has the woody scents if you’re looking for that, too. This one is infused with scents of hedione, jasmine, and sandalwood, so it’s a little bit earthy and floral at the same time.

With notes of lotus flower, peony, and musk, this is a grown-up, sophisticated fragrance. It’s perfect for everyday wear in the office.

The patchouli in this gives it a bit of an earthy, musky feel, but it’s balanced out with sweet notes of peach and cassis.

I love this fragrance because it’s a bit mysterious. It has a citrus note of grapefruit for a fresh feeling, but it’s also got a little bit of spice with pink pepper and earthiness with vetiver.

Bergamot is always a classic note in fragrances—who doesn’t love that fresh, citrus smell? This eau de cologne also contains notes of orange blossom and gaiac wood. I think it works year-round, but I’d wear it especially in the spring and summer months.

This one is just so cheerful and lively. It has those happy notes of cherry, peony, and vanilla.

When a fragrance is called “night,” you know you’re getting something a little mysterious and intense. It has notes of apricot, lily of the valley, and vanilla.

Sandalwood is one of my favourite scents in fragrances—I love how it can be so grounding but doesn’t feel too serious. In addition to sandalwood, this eau de toilette has freesia and violet florals.

If you want something ultrafeminine but not too sickly sweet, you’ll like this one. The fruity fragrance has notes of red fruits, peach, and vanilla.

Don’t let the “vanilla” in this perfume’s name fool you. It’s far from boring and average. The nighttime fragrance is warm and sensual, with notes of cassis, iris, and vanilla.

Described as “warm, long-lasting, and cozy,” this eau de toilette might be your signature scent to wear in the fall and winter months. Notes include peony, vanilla, and musk.

Here’s another cheerful, bright, and feminine pick. The unabashedly floral fragrance contains scents of cassis, tuberose, and vanilla.

This fragrance has a little bit of everything: the fruity sweetness of cassis, floral notes of jasmine, and musk to give it some grounding. This is the kind of perfume you can wear day to night.

As I mentioned above, Zara has other beauty options, namely a variety of lip products. Here are a couple of notable ones.

Everyone needs a classic red in their makeup bag. This lipstick leaves a velvet matte finish with vitamin E to nourish.

Zara also has lip liner options. This one has a creamy consistency, so it’s easy to apply. This hue is a great everyday red if you want a jolt of colour that’s still subtle.

This is the kind of shade that I like to consider almost neutral and therefore perfect for everyday wear.

I can never say no to a deep berry, so obviously, this hue is one of my picks.  Next up, the 22 perfumes that beauty insiders are turning to this year.
