As part of Free Comic Book Day this year, IDW Publishing will release a Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary special issue. This free comic is based on IDW’s deluxe hardcover edition, which celebrates the blue blur’s history with “all-new adventures” inspired by the original 2D games.
Sonic will be joined by Miles “Tails” Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Mighty the Armadillo, Ray the Flying Squirrel and many other “special guests” as they travel through zones in search of the Chaos Emeralds, with stories from Sonic writer Ian Flynn and some of the “biggest fans” of Sega’s mascot.
