As a self-confessed flat aficionado, I have experienced zero feelings of sadness at the lack of stiletto action in my life over the last 12 months. In fact, being confined to the four walls of my home has meant that I have only developed a greater respect for all facets of the flat shoe: From the toe-warming comfort of my shearling slippers to the slip-on-and-go stylings of my embroidered mules. While some will be rocking their fave sky-scrapers the moment April 12th comes around, I’ll happily continue my life-long love affair with the flat, and I’m ok with it.
