The working title for Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has been revealed and it’s a bizarre-sounding name.
Although fans are still waiting for Disney and Marvel Studios to release the likes of Black Widow and Eternals, work will soon begin on Paul Rudd’s upcoming sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The film recently made the headlines as it was reported that Clifford “T.I.” Harris Jr. will not return to the sequel after a number of sexual assault allegations have been made against him.
But as noted by Production Weekly, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will film under the working title Goat Rodeo… Right. Goat Rodeo is a slang term for just sitting back and watching something bad happen when it can’t be stopped. Is this a hint towards the plot of the third film? With Lovecraft Country‘s Jonathan Majors joining the film as Kang the Conqueror it’s possible Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang might be helpless in the face of a time-travelling despot from the future.
What do you make of the working title? Are you excited to see Quantumania? How do you think Goat Rodeo relates to the plot of the film? Sound-off in the comments below!
Here is the synopsis for Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and The Wasp:
