Zack Snyder revealed a new Justice League teaser giving Steppenwolf the spotlight as he works for Darkseid in overthrowing the Earth.
Steppenwolf is coming for the Justice League – and a new teaser offers a look at his brutal attack in the upcoming film. The character was heavily criticized following the theatrical cut of the film, with many fans and critics slamming the writing of the villain his visual design. But this time around, he’s got a much more intimidating look and he also seems to be a lot more vicious in his assault on the planet. We’ve already seen a brief clip of Steppenwolf fighting the Amazons – and this teaser promises more of the same violence.
Zack Snyder took to Twitter to share the new Steppenwolf teaser, which shows the villain commanding several Parademons as they haul a few Atlantean soldiers out of the ocean. It looks to be the same scene that a stuntman on the film said was cut by Warner Bros. as it was too violent for the theatrical cut. The new footage also shows Darkseid speaking to Steppenwolf through the Motherbox, so it looks as if the overarching villain will have a presence scattered throughout the film.
