While they never really went away, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will hold a special place in the heart of many a NES and SNES owner. The 8-bit entry was massively popular during the initial run of the TMNT cartoon show in the early ’90s, while Turtles in Time became one of the SNES’ most beloved side-scrolling brawlers.
Now, we’re getting a game which looks suspiciously like a spiritual successor to that title in the form of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – and, perhaps even more exciting is the fact that it’s being developed by Scott Pilgrim vs. The World studio Tribute Games and is being distributed by Streets of Rage 4 publisher DotEmu.
