Remakes of Chulip and Rule of Rose could be on the cards.
It’s hard to say what Onion Games are best known for. It might be their newer games, like meta-RPG Dandy Dungeon, which is about game development, or satirical RPG Moon, which is old enough to have been Toby Fox’s inspiration for Undertale, but only came out in the West last year. It might be that you know Onion Games’ founder, Yoshiro Kimura, who was the producer for Little King’s Story and both No More Heroes games on the Wii.
Or, perhaps, you know Onion Games as the studio that has the power to remake cult favourites Chulip and Rule of Rose – a game in which you make friends by kissing them, and a horror game that freaked out the British media so much that it was eventually banned in the UK. Yoshiro Kimura’s games have quite the range.
