With work on Black Adam starting in a few months time, Noah Centineo has started preparing to star opposite Dwayne Johnson in the DC Extended Universe film. The film has slowly assembled a full group of heroes to appear in the interesting project, with Aladdin star Marwan Kenzari the most recent addition to the cast in an unknown role.

Noah Centineo was spotted by JustJared heading to the gym where he reportedly spends two hours a day getting in shape for the role. But in a conversation with Australian radio host Smallzy Centineo revealed that he starts working on Black Adam in two months time. He’s not the only one working out hard to match Dwayne Johnson, with Hawkman actor Aldis Hodge saying the Black Adam lead is great motivation to get in shape. Take a look at Noah Centineo talking about the project below.

“I’m gonna to be starting on the new Black Adam in about like two months. Hopefully if all goes to plan, which I hope it does. I’m very excited to do that, be a superhero which I’ve never done before, which should be fun.”

In the meantime, fans can still re-watch the original Shazam! film on all home media formats:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Black Adam is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 22, 2021.
