Launching on Switch this summer.
We might not have received the Breath of the Wild 2 news we were hoping for during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, but series producer Eiji Aonuma did reveal that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD would be arriving on Switch later this year.
Now, thanks to an eShop listing popping up for the new title, we can start to dig into some new details for the upcoming remaster. Firstly, even though it wasn’t mentioned during the presentation, the listing reveals that Skyward Sword HD will feature amiibo support – a feature which wasn’t possible in the original Wii game owing to the fact that amiibo didn’t actually exist yet.
