Although Nintendo said it would be focusing mostly on releases in the “first half” of 2021 during its latest Direct broadcast, there were still high hopes for some news about the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
In the second half of the presentation, Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, shared a minor update. Development is apparently proceeding smoothly and Nintendo “should” be able to bring fans an update this year. Here’s exactly what Aonuma had to say:
