With WandaVision making fans question whether mutants will arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner rather than later, it seems only a matter of time before characters like Wolverine and the X-Men make their entrance alongside the Avengers. Most recently, Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo compared casting Wolverine to Batman, saying that he’d love a shot at bringing Logan onto the big screen.

A new fan design from ‘parker_luck394’  imagines Taron Egerton replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for the MCU, giving the Kingsman star Logan’s classic wild hairstyle and a cigar alongside his signature claws. Egerton has previously dismissed the rumors about his involvement with Wolverine in the MCU, saying he was “baffled.” Take a look at what the star could look like in the MCU as Wolverine below.

Would Taron Egerton make a good version of the hero for the MCU? How could his performance be different to Hugh Jackman’s? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for Hugh Jackman’s last Wolverine film, Logan:

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Directed by James Mangold, Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook.

Logan is now available on Digital HD, Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Wolverine’s future in the MCU and Taron Egerton, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more video content!
