A new design sees Dave Bautista leave the Avengers behind to strap on Bane’s costume in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.
Although fans last saw Dave Bautista in Avengers: Endgame, the star has previously mentioned that he’d love to jump over to DC and help bring Bane to life for The Suicide Squad. Bautista’s bulky muscular size would definitely fit the role, and it would be interesting to see him take on the action and stunts that naturally go hand-in-hand with the villain. James Gunn recently provided fans with an update on Task Force X’s new film, explaining that it’s fully finished.
The fan art comes from ‘barrett.digital’ on Instagram and gives Avengers star Dave Bautista a bulky Bane costume which combines a similar style to Tom Hardy’s tactical suit with a comic accurate design. Since The Suicide Squad will be a more violent affair than other superhero properties, Dave Bautista’s Bane could really be let off the chain if he was to appear alongside other villains like Harley Quinn and Bloodsport.
