Michelle Pfeiffer is open to reuniting with her Batman Returns co-star Michael Keaton as Catwoman in Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
Tim Burton’s Batman universe is about to make a comeback with Michael Keaton suiting up as the Caped Crusader for the first time in decades for Ezra Miller’s The Flash. With Keaton returning as Batman, that has naturally led to many fans wanting to see other characters from the Burton films return, and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman is at the top of that list for many.
Catwoman survived the events of Batman Returns with a spin-off starring Michelle Pfeiffer stuck in development hell for years before Halle Berry ultimately took on the role. Pfeiffer recently moved over to the Ant-Man franchise, but ScreenRant asked her if she was game for a return as Catwoman in Ezra Miller’s The Flash with Michael Keaton already attached:
“I would if anyone asked me but no one’s asked me yet.”

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3rd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on The Flash, Michelle Pfeiffer’s potential return as Catwoman, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content.
