WandaVision Executive Producer Jac Schaeffer revealed that she does indeed read those fan theories circulating on the web.
Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s WandaVision has been the source of many fan theories even before its debut on Disney Plus. Not much was known about the series until the first images and trailer hit the web and even then fans kept theorizing what exactly would happen in the Marvel Studios series. Now that WandaVision has premiered on Disney Plus and three episodes have been released, fans have a little more insight on the series.
We recently had the chance to chat with WandaVision Executive Producer and head writer Jac Schaeffer and we were wondering if she reads any fan theories and as it turns out– she does. “We totally look at all of them and we have so much fun looking at them. I really feel like it would be cooler if I pretended like I didn’t look at them, but I look at them. The writers send them to me, we send them to each other, it’s constant conversation,” Schaffer said to Heroic Hollywood. “It’s really fun. Yeah so, some people have made some really great guesses at things. Some things are way off base. They’ve illuminated things that we didn’t intend but totally work, which is really hilarious when that happens. What’s fun is that there are a number of things that there’s no way for the fans to anticipate. So I’m looking forward to that stuff.”
