It’s part of a ten-year anniversary celebration for the singer.
In Nintendo’s latest TV advert for Ninjala, the hugely popular Switch exclusive that just hit six million downloads, singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu appears alongside Japanese comedy trio Yonsen Toshin to promote the game, as well as her latest single, “Gum Gum Girl”.
This isn’t the first time the Japanese songstress has worked with Nintendo – she’s promoted Animal Crossing: New Horizons by pinching Tom Nook’s squishy tummy, she was in adverts for the decorative 3DS Kisakae faceplates, and last year she appeared in a livestream for Ninjala.
