A new concept design shows Game of Thrones star Kit Harington wearing the Black Knight armor to play Dane Whitman in Marvel Studios’ Eternals.
Although there’s still months to go until audiences eventually get to see a new wave of superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Eternals, a new image shows off Kit Harington in his full armor as Dane Whitman A.K.A. the Black Knight. It’s not clear how he’ll be introduced to the main plot of Eternals but he’s reportedly the love interest for Gemma Chan’s Sersi. In recent news, Eternals director Chloe Zhao confirmed that she’s also a writer on the film.
The artwork of Kit Harington’s Black Knight comes from ‘ryans.reviews’ on Instagram and shows the star in his full armor and iconic helmet for the role. The hero’s also wielding the Neural Sword rather than the Ebony Blade. Obviously it’s easy to draw comparisons to Harington’s role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, but hopefully Eternals offers him some space to do something a little different with Black Knight rather than just a copy of his most iconic character so far. Take a look at Kit Harington as Black Knight below.
