Justice League director Zack Snyder revealed yet another shot from the upcoming film, this time showing off Steppenwolf and a defeated Atlantean.
After fans recently got a look at Darkseid’s full armor in Justice League, director Zack Snyder revealed a new shot of Steppenwolf alongside a fallen Atlantean. The shot seems to be from the scene that a stunt performer previously mentioned was too violent for the theatrical version of the film. But now that Snyder is assembling his original vision for Justice League, it seems like that battle will no be included in the HBO Max release.
Much like most of his Justice League teases, Zack Snyder posted the shot to his Vero account before it quickly did the rounds online. The photo showed off the screening room with the below image projected onscreen. It shows Steppenwolf in his new spiky design kneeling over the fallen Atlantean soldier holding his helmet. Luckily fans don’t have too long to wait for the film’s release, as it should arrive in March this year. Take a look at Steppenwolf and the Atlantean below.
