The premiere of The Flash season seven has been pushed back so The CW can show an expanded premiere of Superman and Lois.
It seems like The CW is keen to give Superman and Lois the spotlight on February 23, as originally the new series was set to air immediately after The Flash‘s season seven premiere – but the Scarlet Speedster’s return has been pushed back to give the Man of Steel more attention. The Superman and Lois 8PM premiere has been extended to 90-minutes long and will even be followed up by a half-hour special, called Legacy of Hope.
Legacy of Hope will feature a number of guest appearances and interviews with the Superman and Lois cast as they talk about the hero’s enduring story and tease what’s ahead for the series. To give Clark Kent and Lois Lane more room, The CW has moved The Flash back one week, to March 2 so that the two heroes can get as much focus as possible from audiences. Since The Flash was disrupted by the ongoing pandemic, fans are understandably keen to learn how that cliffhanger picks up.
