The episode count for Marvel Studios’ WandaVision series starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany has been revealed ahead of its premiere on Disney Plus.
We are now less than two weeks away from witnessing Marvel Studios’ first-ever television series. WandaVision was initially going to follow Black Widow and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but the Elizabeth Olsen-led series will now be the start of a brand-new era in Marvel Studios’ ongoing epic that has been long-awaited.
As for how long Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision will run for, the episode count for the series has been up-in-the-air for a while with reports suggesting that the season could run from six to eight episodes. According to Disney’s PR department, WandaVision will consist of nine episodes, but it’s still unclear how long the episodes will be runtime-wise.

Here is the official synopsis for WandaVision:
Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
WandaVision is set to premiere January 15, 2021 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on WandaVision and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content!
