On Monday, the singer announced her choice walk apart in the band, citing persistent problems along with her psychological wellbeing. In her official announcement, posted with her Instagram accounts, Nelson composed in part (under ):
“The fact is lately being in the group has actually took a toll on my emotional wellbeing. I find that the constant stress of being at a girl set and living up to expectations quite difficult. There is a time {} we will need to reinvest in caring for ourselves instead of making others content and that I feel like today is the opportunity to start this procedure. So after much attention and having a heavy heart, I’m declaring I’m departing Small Mix. I want to devote some time with all the folks I adore, doing things which make me more very happy. I’m prepared to start on a brand new chapter in my own life – that I ’m not certain exactly what it’s likely to seem like now, but that I expect you’ll still be there to encourage me. ”
