Ten shows each are coming from Marvel Studios and the Star Wars franchise for Disney Plus in the next few years.
Disney is committing to streaming in a major way as they announced during their Investor Day presentation that there are ten Marvel Studios and Star Wars shows on the way. Marvel Studios announced their Disney Plus slate last year with WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If..?, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel. That leaves two more Marvel Studios shows that have yet to be announced.
On the Star Wars side, we currently have The Mandalorian with spin-offs centered on Cassian Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and The Bad Batch from The Clone Wars. That leaves six shows that could be announced later today during the presentation. Some rumored shows include Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, The High Republic, a Star Wars Rebels successor series, and more. 15 Disney Animation and Pixar projects are also said to be coming to the streaming service.
