WandaVision will now be our first introduction to Marvel Studios’ television side when it was originally going to be The Falcon and the Winter Soldier before COVID-19 shuffled up the Phase 4 schedule. Based on the footage revealed so far, Marvel Studios will be jumping into a new medium with one of the most unique entries to date. The upcoming series is set to explore Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch seemingly creating an alternate reality that brings back Paul Bettany’s Vision, who died at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, in a ’60s sitcom setting.

Vision was the only casualty in Avengers: Infinity War who didn’t return in Endgame, but somehow Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will bring him back in the upcoming series. As we approach Disney Plus’ highly anticipated original series, new marketing materials are starting to come out. To build up hype, Marvel Studios shared a new WandaVision poster teasing remixed feel the series will have. You can check out the new poster below.

Here is the official synopsis for WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision is set to premiere January 15, 2021 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau in WandaVision and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original
