A recent tweet from Black Panther star Letitia Wright has caused controversy after the video openly blasted the COVID-19 vaccine as well as including other inflammatory views.
Fans were in uproar recently as Black Panther star Letitia Wright shared a controversial video from the Light London Church, which saw Tomi Arayomi expressing some inflammatory opinions over the COVID-19 vaccine. Disappointingly, the video also included some harmful transphobic statements as well as showing anti-Chinese sentiments. It’s easy to see why fans were angry about Wright sharing content like that, especially when it’s expected that she’ll lead the Black Panther franchise after the late Chadwick Boseman.
Aside from openly advocating some disrespectful views, the 69-minute-long video even debated the existence of climate-change. Many wondered why Letitia Wright would share such opinions, but the star has since apologized after deleting the original post. In a brief tweet, the Black Panther star explained that she wasn’t trying to hurt anyone and was only posting the video only over concerns of what’s included in the vaccine. Take a look below.
my intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies.
Nothing else.
